Hamster X: The Fast and Furryious

Infinite Turns Pog

Despite the entirely unrelated title, this deck is fucking sick. Essentially, it’s NeneTheZola’s list swapping Objection for E.T.C. Band Manager, with a board of Ice Block, Potion of Illusion, and Lorekeeper Polkelt. Ice Block and the extra Potion are incredibly powerful, but I’m kinda iffy on Lorekeeper. Its only purpose is to make sure your next draw is Rommath, in order to start the infinite combo.

To execute the combo, all you really need to do is fulfill three conditions: complete and cast your quest, have cast a Potion of Illusion that did not start in your deck, and cast a Rommath. While it’s simple on paper, there are a few things to consider while playing. Try to avoid resolving any board wipes that also hit your board before you resolve your first Potion of Illusion from outside your deck. Because Rommath casts spells in the order you did, you want the Potion of Illusion to make a copy of Rommath before it dies. This guideline also applies to spells that start outside your deck that draw or add cards to hand. With too many of these, you won’t be able to effectively dump 7 Romaths into play because of a cluttered hand.

Luckily, should you decide the “infinite” combo is nonviable, you can go functionally infinite by using Queen Azshara and Commander Sivara in combination with Rommath to take a massive amount of turns in a row and win by poking them down with your assortment of three-power creatures. The deck is very powerful and could probably be even better if you didn’t waste an ETC slot on essentially a meme combo and kept it open for more survivability or maybe progressing the quest. I’m sure the deck would be better.

Not much else to say except that this is one of the few decks that could feasibly win through a fully comboed Linecracker, though the likelihood of succeeding in that scenario is essentially zero, and you should probably concede lol. Here’s a link to an HSreplay game where I managed to fill the board with Rommaths (HSReplay). It’s fun shit when it works.
